About Us

Now you’re here, here’s more about us!

Officially established in the Autumn of 2011, Embrace Socials undertake a wide range of events all over the country with a basic and founding principle of offering a Christian alternative. The range of events that we cover can be split up into the following five headings;

• Wedding Parties • Praise & Worship Events • Family & Church Events • Fundraising Events • Birthday Parties •

Unlike some other groups, we are not available for bookings on a Sunday.

This section is not about what we provide however! It's about our team, a team of volunteers which come from all over the province! See below for further info!

Stephen K Andrews is from the Western County of Fermanagh, currently residing in Belfast and working as a Civil Servant.

Ian Morrow is from Monaghan, in the Republic of Ireland, currently working at Belfast International Airport. He has been doing socials for 14 years now and is currently in charge of our various outreach activities including the Portadown Youth Rally & The Lifeline Bus Ministry.

Jon Hunter is from Portadown, currently working with the family business selling fuel, apparently it's all legit! He attends Edenderry Presbyterian Church and is an officer in the Boys Brigade.

Andrew Skelly is from Katesbridge, Co. Down, coldest & warmest place in Northern Ireland he tells us! He is also a self professed contractor, (and yes he has had his teeth whitened)

Stephen Glasgow is from Cookstown, Co. Tyrone. He currently works for NIE. He helps us on a part time basis, mainly because he sticks out like a sore thumb with the hair colour, cruel but true!
